WHEREAS, in terms of Section 15(1) of the NCTE Act, 1993, Sudharani Daloiram Pathak College of Teacher Education, Plot No.-83. St. No. Ward No.4, P.O.- Tihu. Tehsil/ Taluka- Tihu, Town/ City - Tihu, Dist.- Nalbari, Assam - 781371 has applied for grant of recognition/ permission... for D.El.Ed. Course online on 29.06.2015 for two year duration.

AND WHEREAS, on scrutiny of the application submitted by the institution, the documents attached therewith, the affidavit submitted and the report received from VT and videography, and the certificates received from the affiliating body, the Committee is satisfied that the applicant fulfils the requirements under the provisions of NCTE Act, Rules and relevant Regulations...

NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers vested under Section 15(3)(a) of the NCTE Act 1993, the Eastern Regional Committee, NCTE hereby grants recognition/ permission to SDP College of Teachers Education... for conducting D.El.Ed. Course of two years duration with an intake of 50 (One basic unit) from the academic session 2018-2019 under Clause 7(16) of NCTE (Recognition Norms & Procedure) Regulations, 2014 subject to fulfillment of the conditions.

In exercise of the powers vested under Section 14(3)(a) of the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) Act, 1993, the Eastern Regional Committee grants recognition to S.D.P. College of Teacher Education, Tihu, Nalbari-781 371 (Assam) for B.Ed. Course of one year duration from the academic session 2001-2002 with an annual intake of 60 (Sixty) students, subject to fulfilling the following conditions:

1. The teaching staff should be paid in the salary structure prescribed by the UGC/Central Government/State Government as the case may be.
2. The institution shall ensure library with 3000 books, laboratories and other instructional infrastructure as per the NCTE norms.
3. The admission to the approved course shall be given only to those candidates who are eligible as per the regulations governing the course and in the manner laid down by the affiliating university/State Government.
4. Teaching days including practice teaching should not be less than the number fixed in the NCTE norms for the course.

If S.D.P. College of Teacher Education... contravenes the provisions of the NCTE Act or the rules, regulations and orders made or issued thereunder or fails to fulfil the above conditions, the Regional Committee may withdraw this recognition under the provisions of Section 17(1) of the NCTE Act.
