DECISIONS OF THE EXECUTIVE COUNCIL

E.C.Res.No.94/20/238(25) dt.17.9.94.
College of Education, Tihu (Proposed).

Sub: Permission to start B.Ed.College.

RESOLVED that the Sponsoring Body of the College of Education, Tihu (Proposed) be granted permission from the session 1994-95 in the subjects as stated below on fulfilment of the following conditions :-

Subjects: English, Assamese, History, Social Studies, Mathematics.
Conditions:
  1. The Sponsoring Body must possess a plot of land in the name of the College.
  2. Appointment of qualified teachers as per provision of G.U. Ordinance, specially with teachers' education.
  3. Construction of the College building in its own land.
  4. Establishment of a well-equipped Library with B.Ed. standard books and journals.

RESOLVED also that a copy of the resolution be sent to:
(1) The Director of Higher Education, Assam, for information and necessary action.
(2) The Secretary of the Sponsoring Body of the College of Education, Tihu(Proposed) for information and necessary action.
